Earthy Gypsy Caravan Tribal Bellydance

Join Becky for a fabulous workshop in Gypsy Caravan Tribal Bellydance (GCTB). Becky is a highly accredited Gypsy Caravan dancer and runs classes in Albany.

GCTB's earthy steps, combos and the synchronicity of group improvisation invite us to connect with the source of our vitality and confidence as a woman, as a dancer.

Feel the beat and let your body speak.

You're invited to be inspired by green and earth colours.

* Suit dancers with some Gypsy Caravan knowledge.

Wear clothing you feel comfortable moving in, bare feet, socks or jazz shoes are all acceptable. No noisy belts please.

Training annually in the USA with her principal teacher and the innovator to GCTB Paulette Rees Denis, she is certified Teacher Training level 4, Collective Soul Level 6 and Tribal Grooves level 1&2. To support the development of tribal and tribal fusion, Becky has sponsored Paulette for workshops and intensives several times, Tribal Fusion Artist Sue Erokan (USA) and co-sponsored Carolena Nericcio to Australia. Locally in her home town of Albany and across the Great Southern, Becky teaches classes, facilities women’s circles and workshops. She delivers workshops and performs nationally and internationally, is a periodic guest writer for Bellydance Oasis Magazine on Tribal and is certified in General Skills (ATS) and Keti Sharif’s A-Z System of Bellydance

With a profession in Social Work/Psychology, Mindfulness and Expressive and Movement Arts Becky is passionate about women’s empowerment, wellbeing through mind, body, spirit connection and community capacity building. Equally, she believes Tribal Style Bellydance creates an opportunity to nurture this through its tribal vocabulary and the synchronicity of group improvisation. It creates a space inviting gentle acceptance of where you are in the moment, and celebrate “BE”-“YOU”-tiful
